The Ole Miss Bell Tower, Oxford Mississippi

The Ole Miss bell tower was constructed to honor the Lloyd family as a result of their $1 million gift made in support of the Ole Miss Athletics Foundation “Forward Together” fundraising campaign and its initiatives. As part of the north end zone expansion of Vaught-Hemingway Stadium, the 60′ (18 m) tower positioned at the end of the walk of champions will be a focal point tying together the walk from The Grove tail gating area to the North End Zone Plaza for fans on their way into the stadium. The bell tower will also serve as a call to everyone on The Grove and around campus to begin that journey and head into the stadium for the start of the game; many with the hopes of hearing those bells ringing again after the game signaling an Ole Miss victory.
