Project Overview
The City of Montreal has announced a historic investment of $684 million to upgrade roads, sewers and aqueducts over the next year. The addition of the Rockfield Storm Water Retention Basin is a large part of this ambitious project.
Customer Benefits
- Labor savings alone, due to the rugged tie spacing coupled with the ability to assemble and cycle the forms in large gangs, the ability to bolt through the steel face sheet to accommodate build-up of the sloping bulkhead design on all buttresses
- PLATE GIRDER® wall gang allowed the crane to pick and cycle the forms in large gangs yet remain flexible enough to be to be re-used with quick modification in between non-typical buttress spacings
- Minimizing the work by means of “Insert Angles” by integrating the wood fillers with the steel forms
