RAPID CAST®

Repairable Frame

Being assembled rather than welded, every component of the RAPID CAST frame can be repaired should site damage occur, minimizing formwork costs. All components are corrosion-resistant and can be stored outdoors.

Alloy Corners

Alloy corners provide precise geometry and a reinforced connection point for panels in two directions when bolted with 3/4" (Ø19 mm) bolts. The corner connection reduces the need for walers during standup and handling of panels.

Multi Panel

The RAPID CAST MultiPanel accommodates a variety of column and wall sizes, providing versatility and negating the need for fillers or custom solutions for a wide range of projects.

Multi Panel Connection

The rail-and-bolt corner system for concrete walls. Handles 4" to 24" (100 mm to 600 mm) thicknesses in 1-inch increments, with panel rotation for custom sizes. Secure connections prevent disconnection during pours.

Panel Clamp

The lightweight panel clamp grips panel joints at the sides and back and opens wide enough to secure a 2x4 to a single rail, fastening wood filler forms quickly without special accessories. Clamps can be installed even with a 1/2" (13mm) gap between forms and when form faces are up to 1/4" (6mm) out of flush.

Gang Lifting Device

A special construction tool that safely lifts and moves assembled concrete wall formwork panels using crane rigging. Allowing crews to position entire wall sections at once instead of individual pieces, significantly speeding up concrete wall construction.

Taper Ties

A 5/8" (16 mm) Threadbar Tie, with a durable and lightweight over-molded taper, allows for fast installation and stripping and comes in three lengths.

T-Bolt to Panel Rail Connection

Secures bulkhead beams to panel rails for horizontal bracing. Prevents lateral movement and unifies panels into a stable structure. T-bolt system with washer provides rigidity and simple installation.

Filler Rail

The Filler Rail accessory lets you build custom filler panels using 3/4" plywood and 2x4 lumber ribs. The rail has pockets that support the ribs and directly handles sideways forces, reducing stress on lumber connections and strengthening the overall assembly.

E-Board

With its extreme durability and repairable face, E-Board offers an extended service life. It is lighter than plywood and not susceptible to moisture damage.

Inside Corner

The RAPID CAST® inside corner offers durability and stability with rigid, all-steel construction. The 10" x 10" (250 mm x 250 mm) corners easily connect to other RAPID CAST® panels with standard panel clamps.

With its lightweight frame construction and durable composite facing, EFCO’s RAPID CAST system is ideal for various concrete forming applications. The largest panel weighs just 5.1 psf and can support pour pressures of 1500 psf for liquid head placements up to 10 feet high. RAPID CAST is suitable for both handset and ganged wall applications. Clamped connections provide rapid assembly and alignment—perfect for realizing the lowest in-place concrete cost.

E-BEAM Aligner Bracket

The new E-BEAM Aligner Bracket enables the RAPID CAST® system to use existing E-BEAM inventory as an aligning waler, providing a more cost-effective alternative to traditional bulkhead beam setups while allowing longer E-BEAMs to span multiple form joints vertically or horizontally. This innovative solution reduces alignment costs, improves wall straightness compared to wood solutions, and leverages readily available inventory that can be attached at any point during the build-up process. Additionally, the bracket increases allowable gang standup height and width dimensions when the E-BEAM is used at full height.

RAPID CAST® Stripping Filler

The new RAPID CAST® Stripping Filler is engineered to provide stripping relief for trapped RAPID CAST® panels, reducing labor compared to traditional wood fillers while accommodating multiple stripping options to help customers achieve Lowest In-Place Concrete Costs (LIPCC). The 4-inch (100 mm) wide self-locking profile with aligning tabs produces clean, flat joints and can either be completely removed to leave a 1/2″ (13 mm) gap between adjacent panels or allow gangs to be stripped in halves similar to CBC systems. This lightweight solution, weighing only 29 pounds (13.2 kg) at 9 feet (2.7 m), attaches using T-bolt clamps and provides hassle-free stripping relief that reduces site labor and improves overall efficiency.
