Heavy Duty Shoring Systems

HDS-50 & HDS-100 Shore Tower System
  • 100K Shoring System - Screw Jack

    Screw Jack (Top)

Just like the bottom Screw Jacks, top Screw Jacks are adjustable and easy to install. If another tower unit is required, coupler units can be used instead to allow for another tower unit to be stacked and installed on top.

  • 100K Shoring System - Coupler

    Coupler

Couplers have holes to connect bracing to tower frames. Additionally, Lifting Eyes (LE-5) can be installed to the Coupler allowing for an entire tower unit to be picked by crane and set in place, ready for use.

  • 50K-100K Shoring System Frame Holes

    Adjustable Frame Holes - HDS-50

Holes built into the X-Frames allow for varying tower widths. The HDS-50 system can adjust to 6', 7' or 8'.

  • 50K-100K Shoring System Frame Holes

    Adjustable Frame Holes - HDS-100

Holes built into the X-Frames allow for varying tower widths. The HDS-100 system can adjust to 8', 9' or 10'.

  • 50K & 100K Shoring System - Welded Frame

    HDS-50 Welded Frame

Each leg can support up to 40,000 lb giving the complete tower unit a capacity of 16,000 lb.

  • 50K & 100K Shoring System - Welded Frame

    HDS-100 Welded Frame

Each leg can support up to 100,000 lb giving the complete tower unit a capacity of 400,000 lb.

  • 50K & 100K - X-Frame

    HDS-100 X-Frame

Adding or changing section units is as simple as removing four pins, sliding the units apart, and pinning the new unit into place. Both the X-Frames and the Welded Frames have a variety of sizes for maximum adjustability.

  • 50K Shoring System Screw Jack

    HDS-50 Screw Jack Bottom

The Screw Jacks are easily attached and adjustable from 11" to 17" for HDS-50 towers. Large foot pads allow for minimum bearing pressure and swivel joints allow for additional adaptability. HDS-50 Screw Jack is a Single Axis Swivel Pivot Jack that is adjustable from 11" – 17"

  • 100K Shoring System Shore Jack

    HDS-100 Shore Jack

The Shore Jacks are 360° Ball Joint Bearing and are easily attached and adjustable from 10" to 16". Large foot pads allow for minimum bearing pressure and swivel joints allow for additional adaptability. For high-load towers, a Sand Jack can be used in conjunction with the Shore Jacks to release the load before cycling. (HDS-100 only).

Supportive Slab & Deck Concrete Systems

The EFCO HDS-50 and HDS-100 Shoring Systems are designed to support high and heavy loads on today’s construction projects.

System Setup

For the HDS-50 system, 200K for a complete tower unit, it comes in the basic 8′ x 8′ setup adjustable to 8′ x 7′ or 8′ x 6′. The HDS-100 system has a basic 10′ x 10′ setup providing a complete tower unit with a capacity of 400 K and adjustable to 10′ x 9′ or 10′ x 8′.

Screw jacks on the top and bottom of EFCO Shore Towers provide maximum adjustability. Moving the EFCO Shore Tower is as easy as loosening the screws and picking the entire tower as a single unit. Adding or changing sections is as simple as removing four pins, sliding the units apart and pinning the new unit in place. Consider using the EFCO Shore Tower System when forming high bridge piers, multi-lane bridges, large beams and other heavy loads.

HDS-50 Shore Tower

The HDS-50 Shore Towers consist of two welded frames and two (“X”) bracing frames which equal four legs for a maximum load of 200K. Up to four additional legs per tower may be added for a 400K capacity.

HDS-100 Shore Tower

HDS-100 Shore Towers consist of two welded frames and two (“X”) bracing frames which equal four legs for a maximum load of 400K. Up to four additional legs per tower may be added for a 800K capacity.
