About the Customer
Location: Peru, Illinois
Three foundations measured nearly 48′ x 25′ x 25′ (14.6 m x 7.6 m x 7.6 m) tall, 26″ (660 mm) wall thickness.
- Located in an area with harsh winter conditions, including flooding
- Fewer connection points on formwork = fewer trips climbing 25′ tall forms = reduced labor and less exposure to possible accidents
- Field supervisor on-site to introduce crew to EFCO equipment and drawings
Soon after cycling the EFCO LITE® gang forms onto the second structure, it was obvious that having fewer connection points, fewer ties and fewer trips climbing the 25′ tall forms was leading to reduced labor—but more importantly, is far less exposure to possible accidents among crew members. This increased safety factor was greatly appreciated by all since all of the structures were completed in harsh winter conditions.
